Be willing to take responsibility for the outcome of entrepreneurial ventures that you’re involved in. If you fail, and you will eventually fail, you need to be willing to make adjustments.  This is a requirement if you want to succeed, no matter how much control you think you have over the situation.

As a new entrepreneur, you need to establish yourself as an expert in the field you are working in. If you are offering stock options, for example, you need to use the same industry terms and words when speaking to potential customers and clients about what you can do for them in the future.

The trick to selling is actually the manner in which you sell. A great salesman understands the importance of selling himself to the customer and making them feel comfortable with their decision to work with him. Don’t spend a lot of time worrying about the customer’s personal opinion of you; just make sure you offer him something that he can use, and he will recommend you to others.

Do you know what is the most important skill that an entrepreneur needs? It is the ability to listen. Besides making sure that you deliver a quality product, you also need to understand the needs of your customers.
